I've been a 3D artist for over 15 years, focusing mostly in texturing for video games and animation. I've worked for several video game studios like EA games to post production studios like Zoic. Lately I started teaching and loved it because it helps me explore and experiment more with my students. Some of my professional work can be found here: https://uv_muse.artstation.com

Have you ever wonder how those cool models and characters in games and animation get colored/textured? In this class I am going to teach you industry standard texturing process for game/animation assets. This is a beginners course but it is recommended to have a basic understanding of 3D modeling and UV unwrap. Although, I will be providing the assets since we aren't going to model or UV unwrap in this class.

What do you need:
-Substance 3D Painter (You can download the trial at adobe.com)

What you'll learn:
-Learn how to bake 3D mesh textures to improve your texturing in Substance 3D Painter
-What are material and smart materials
-How to use smart masks
-What are generators and how to use them
